ARTICLING STUDENT
Yvan recently joined Gibsons LLP as an articling student. He has a distinct combination of legal expertise and academic credentials with over ten years in the legal field. He has developed experience across a wide range of legal areas, including Civil Litigation, and Corporate Law, addressing the diverse needs of his clients.
He holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University, a law degree from Brazil University, a postgraduate diploma in Tax Law. He has an Advanced Diploma in International Business from Nova Scotia Community College, where he also served as a member of the Board of Governors.
Yvan was called to the Bar of Brazil in 2012. He has built a robust career navigating multiple industries and legal environments. Originally from Sao Paulo, he now calls Ottawa home, where he continues his legal practice. He is fluently bilingual in English, and Portuguese.
His combined expertise in law and business provides him with valuable insight into Canadian business practices, rules and regulations. Currently completing his qualification with the Law Society of Ontario. Yvan is committed to delivering high-quality, responsive legal services, building a professional practice that meets the needs of clients across the province.
